Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on industrial systems; diagnose mechanical failures in components and systems; interpret technical drawings and hydraulic diagrams; disassemble, inspect, recover, and reassemble mechanical assemblies; adjust hydraulic, pneumatic, and transmission systems; align shafts and pulleys and balance rotating sets; coordinate small technical interventions with other mechanics; participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects (Kaizens); document activities in SAP-M or equivalent systems; support planning of interventions by analyzing time estimates and resource needs; collaborate with engineering and production on equipment modifications; train level 1 professionals; conduct post-maintenance testing to validate adjustments and system performance.
