About the Role

Join the INLAP engineering team as a Junior Full‑Stack Developer and build practical web applications and platform tools for internal teams. You'll gain hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript) UI, Node.js backend services, and modern AI developer tools that foster rapid learning and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining user-facing features using Angular and TypeScript
• Build and debug backend services with Node.js, under guidance from medior/senior team members
• Test, document, and support new software features
• Learn to use AI productivity tools (e.g., code assistants, AI-assisted code review/test generation) as part of your workflow
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, contributing to team discussions and learning best practices
• Integrate with internal/external APIs and enterprise platforms with supervision

Required Skills

• Understanding of TypeScript, basic Angular or similar frontend frameworks, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Coursework or project experience with backend (Node.js preferred)
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with AI tooling for code and tests
• Basic knowledge of Git version control and collaborative coding (e.g., GitHub)
• Solid problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Python and agentic orchestration frameworks
• Familiarity with REST APIs (consumption and/or basic design)
• Exposure to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, etc.), cloud monitoring or container basics

Location: Brno, Czechia or Bratislava, Slovakia

Working time: EMEA

Hybrid role: minimum 2 days per week in the office

Salary range: Brno: 68 000 CZK to 103 000 CZK gross/a month; Bratislava: 2600 EUR to 3900 EUR gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
