Develop initial scope of work, block flow diagrams, and equipment selections for ammonia refrigeration systems; perform sizing and selection of refrigeration equipment and mass/energy balance calculations; maintain engineering standards and ensure compliance with code changes; create standard engineering project designs and Capex estimates; lead cross-functional reviews to define standard process flows for capital projects; provide technical expertise to resolve operational and compliance issues; establish benchmarking of common equipment and processes; identify and evaluate Best Available Technologies; create preliminary budgetary estimates across multiple disciplines; work with third-party engineering firms to develop for-bid and for-construction drawings; act as a resident expert providing guidance on strategic fit; present project viability to senior leadership; participate in Zone Technical Peer Reviews; define and implement operating KPIs for utilities; scout and qualify potential vendors.
