Role Summary

• Lead the STR Planning and Engineering team to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery of engineering sample builds supporting customer qualifications, NPI, and business commitments.
• Act as the primary interface between Business Line (BL) customers and the manufacturing site, coordinating sample requests, priorities, risks, and escalation management.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Planning, Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth sample build operations and customer satisfaction

Job Responsibility

• Lead and manage a team of Planning and Engineering professionals to achieve operational and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary customer (BL) contact for engineering sample build activities, including demand review, schedule alignment, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate engineering sample build execution from request intake through shipment and completion.
• Prioritize sample requests and allocate resources to meet customer commitments and business requirements.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor sample build progress, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation plans to prevent schedule delays.
• Manage customer escalations and ensure timely communication of project status, issues, and recovery actions.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and execution effectiveness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and process robustness.
• Develop team competencies through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
• Support strategic NPI, qualification, and customer development projects requiring engineering sample execution.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7–15 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, NPI, engineering sample operations, production planning, or project management.
• Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience managing technical or cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, qualification requirements, and product lifecycle management
• Experience serving as a customer-facing representative and managing communication with internal and external stakeholder.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in risk assessment, problem-solving, and escalation management.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, or Kaizen is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, customers, and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting aggressive timelines and customer commitments.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and manufacturing planning systems is preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong stakeholder management capability.
