Responsibilities
Inspect and maintain Life Safety Equipment (LSE) across campus, documenting inspection status, supply levels, equipment condition, expiration dates, and any required maintenance or replacement. Manage safety supplies and inventory by monitoring usage, replenishing supplies, submitting orders, rotating stock, completing cycle counts, expediting materials, and maintaining clean and organized stockroom areas. Perform equipment verifications, measurements, and calibrations according to customer requirements, manufacturer protocols, SOPs, Work Instructions, and applicable GMP procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting by tracking monthly inspections, analyzing and reconciling customer and Thermo Fisher reports, and providing performance metrics and updates to site leadership. Support a strong safety culture by participating in safety initiatives, maintaining and developing Work Instructions, assisting with Job Hazard Assessments and PPE assessments, and identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety. Provide technical support, training, and leadership to ULS colleagues by sharing expertise, developing training resources, participating in learning activities, and supporting or leading team meetings and projects.
