Responsibilities
Receive and process emergency and routine telephone calls concerning police, fire, and EMS matters; Broadcast calls for service to appropriate police officers and coordinate emergency operations; Monitor intrusion, fire, flood, and weather alarms; Assist in training new dispatchers and act as a liaison between communications and other departments; Operate communications through Incident Command Vehicle or Mobile Command Post as needed.
