Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of the service parts warehouse and service equipment; act as liaison between customers, suppliers, freight carriers, and shipping department; order, receive, package, dispatch, track, and ensure on-time delivery of parts and tools; organize return of non-compliance materials and warranty returns; coordinate calibration of field service tooling and maintain tracking logs; request parts and tools for field service projects; maintain active list of project timelines and prioritize job tasks; assist in preparation of projects and estimates for field service technicians; inspect physical condition of equipment; create and maintain accurate inventory records, logbooks, and parts lists; inspect new and used parts to assure conformance to product specification; coordinate and assist with performing component cleaning, evaluation, repair, or overhaul; maintain inventory control of warehouse parts, tools, and consumables; maintain a clean and organized shop environment; provide technical and administrative assistance to other service personnel.
