Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing and Clinical Education Department; Supervise staff including recruiting, selection, coaching, and performance appraisal; Develop and implement electronic biennial nursing learning needs assessments; Oversee planning and evaluation of clinical education training programs; Guide orientation and training for new employees and clinical programs; Act as a consultant to interprofessional leaders on educational needs and organizational strategies; Lead the house-wide nursing education council; Facilitate professional development and competence validation for all staff; Determine strategic direction of clinical programs to align with organizational goals; Collaborate on designing educational plans applying teaching/learning principles; Identify future educational needs and develop sustainable plans; Serve as a change agent in the health care delivery system; Mentor system hospital education departments and leadership.
