Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Rides team and assigned departments; Lead by example as a representation of core values; Act as an approachable mentor and coach; Manage and control financial aspects including budgets; Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices for safety; Become knowledgeable of performing essential duties of all rides positions; Participate in hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline; Ensure required meal and breaks are given in accordance with PA law; Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping; Ensure rides are operated within compliance to state, local, manufacturer, and industry standards; Develop and implement department policies and procedures; Coordinate with maintenance team on attraction downtime and mechanical issues; Manage guest feedback and escalate complaints; Enforce Park policies and ride restrictions; Ensure standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety; Periodically facilitate internal audits of the rides team; Maintain calmness and professionalism during tense or emergency situations; Monitor weather and oversee necessary ride closures; Ensure attractions documentation is compliant with Company standards; Participate in the Manager on Duty program if needed
