Responsibilities
Author and authorize technical solutions and repair drawings for structural non-conformities; Secure compliance with Aircraft Safety and Airworthiness requirements; Create and approve temporary aircraft definitions for testing; Exercise autonomous decision-making to release standard structural repair instructions; Act as a functional interface between Chief Engineering and local Manufacturing/Quality Assurance; Review complex design data and provide input for technical briefings; Formulate and authorize technical design solutions for deviations discovered during assembly; Represent the Chief Engineering office in international technical working blocks; Provide on-site structures engineering support across the entire manufacturing process; Launch and monitor engineering design improvements to eliminate recurring defects; Partner with global engineering departments to align local solutions with global methods; Share technical expertise and mentor team members; Deliver technical explanations to customers, suppliers, and the flight test department.
