Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate financing documentation including APLMA-based facilities agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, guarantees, and ancillary finance documents; Advise on the structuring and execution of complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions; Support the business throughout the full transaction lifecycle from mandate to syndication; Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Sustainability, and Operations; Work closely with legal teams in other BBVA jurisdictions on cross-border matters; Support the development of new financing products and sustainable finance solutions; Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting lending and financing activities; Select, instruct and manage external counsel; Contribute to the development of internal policies, legal templates, and best practices
