Responsibilities
Manage financial management of construction projects including gross profit, forecasting, WIP, revenue recognition, and backlog reporting; Prepare and consolidate financial reports in compliance with IFRS; Oversee cost management activities including reconciliation, analysis, and control measures; Review and validate vendor and consultant invoices for compliance and accuracy; Resolve billing discrepancies to facilitate timely payment processing; Monitor outstanding payments and cash collections; Conduct regular cost reviews and reconciliations; Support accounts payable processes; Audit project P&L reports; Monitor project profitability and claims activity; Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; Respond to requests from internal and external auditors; Support project closeout processes; Champion partnerships as a liaison between finance and operational stakeholders; Support the Controller with continuous improvement initiatives
