Responsibilities
Assist in execution of engineering and continuous improvement projects from planning through implementation; Build, modify, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and workstations; Assist with installation, startup, and validation of new manufacturing equipment; Fabricate or modify components as needed to support manufacturing improvements; Support manufacturing engineers with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and production launches; Perform equipment trials and document results; Assist with machine layouts, line improvements, and workstation optimization; Collect production data, perform time studies, and support root cause investigations; Develop and update work instructions, visual controls, and project documentation; Coordinate project activities with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and outside vendors; Support safety improvements, ergonomic projects, and 6S initiatives; Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to the Engineering Manager.
