Responsibilities
Develop detailed plans and objectives for product development; Guide and complete preparation of design layouts, sketches, and technical specifications; Evaluate and review design results to ensure intended product performance; Develop prototypes for testing and provide technical support on design feasibility; Standardize materials, components, and assemblies for new and existing products; Maintain detailed documentation of designs, ideas, and technical improvements; Support the Customer Service team to ensure proper product functionality; Provide guidance and training to engineers, technicians, and contractors; Travel domestically and internationally for installations, troubleshooting, and product validation; Design, implement, and maintain controls software for industrial control systems; Perform engineering change management and maintain design records; Evaluate and improve existing product designs and control architectures; Work with hardware integration including PLCs and communication protocols; Ensure compliance with UL 508, 508A, NEC, and CE standards; Support technical proposal preparation, customer training, and documentation.
