Perform situational analysis and strategy development for supply chain development, procurement, and logistics; Perform DFM reviews prior to design release; Perform cost estimating on custom engineered materials and tool costs; Determine cost-effective manufacturing processes in collaboration with mechanical design engineers; Execute on-site supplier evaluations; Coordinate Supply Chain activities for all phases of PCP execution; Manage periodic materials quotation activities and assist in executing RFQs; Identify and facilitate qualification of new, alternate, and localized suppliers; Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and supply chain optimization programs; Lead efforts to obtain full commodity and sourcing control of BOM and AVL in the design phase; Execute Jabil's Early Supplier Involvement program
