Support new business and new customer material quotation activities; Develop effective relationships with Business Unit Management; Attend quote kick-off meetings; Drive quotes based on RFQ checklist and commit delivery dates; Review all data in the entire BOM and ensure correct commodity assignment; Prepare quote packages and solicit quotes from the supply base; Select and analyze for best possible pricing, lead-times, MOQ, and other terms to achieve lower TCO; Manage and develop supply base; Review quotes with Global Commodity Management team; Support and recommend alternate supply base; Evaluate supplier performance; Provide regular updates and reporting on quotation and metrics activities; Identify creative ways to streamline processes and systems; Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
