Responsibilities
Design and deploy server infrastructure including physical hardware, Hyper-V clusters, and storage systems; Administer and tune virtualization environments and perform disaster recovery operations; Manage Microsoft Defender tools for endpoint, identity, and cloud security; Oversee identity and access services including Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid Microsoft Entra integration; Support web and application servers including IIS, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Apache, MySQL, and PHP; Automate routine administration with PowerShell; Monitor system health using Zabbix and Azure Monitor; Manage hardware and software lifecycle including upgrades, patches, and capacity planning; Maintain immutable cloud backups using Dell APEX/Druva; Collaborate on network services including DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and HTTP/HTTPS; Support modern endpoints through Windows Intune and Microsoft 365; Provide after-hours support and travel to remote campuses; Document configurations and recovery procedures; Complete 40 hours of continuing education annually
