Responsibilities
Perform RMF activities to achieve system acceptance for RSO IT systems in networked, standalone, and cloud environments. Apply Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience to Air Force and DoD information systems. Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures. Execute RMF system requirements, identify IT system vulnerabilities and risks, and develop remediation plans. Categorize systems; select, implement, assess, and monitor security controls in accordance with DoDI 8510.01. Develop, review, and maintain documentation needed to obtain RMF accreditation for each system. Coordinate RMF activities with the RSO cybersecurity lead.
