Responsibilities
Lead instrumentation and ICSS design engineering and technical reviews; Review and approve P&IDs, datasheets, instrument indexes, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable/JB schedules, MTOs, and specifications; Review and approve instrument calculations, sizing, selection, and engineering deliverables; Ensure compliance with COMPANY standards, project specifications, applicable codes, and engineering practices; Review control philosophy, C&E, SIL, SIS/ESD, and F&G interfaces; Lead brownfield surveys, constructability reviews, tie-ins, modifications, and MOC activities; Review vendor technical documents, data sheets, drawings, and engineering submissions; Manage technical interfaces with ICSS, Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Operations, Procurement, and Construction; Resolve technical queries, design discrepancies, field issues, and engineering conflicts; Ensure designs address installation, commissioning, maintainability, operability, and lifecycle requirements; Support procurement, FAT/SAT, construction, loop checking, commissioning, and startup; Review and control redlines, as-built drawings, design changes, and final engineering documentation; Monitor design quality, progress, deliverables, and technical compliance; Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Instrument Engineers and Designers; Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, document control, MOC, and project requirements
