Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities across multiple entities; Prepare accurate financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis; Manage accounting for time-and-materials, fixed-fee, and retainer engagements; Partner with delivery leaders on project reviews covering revenue, costs, and margins; Review client contracts to assess revenue recognition and billing terms; Support forecasting, scenario analysis, and pricing decisions; Oversee cash management, AP, AR, payroll, and collections; Lead annual audits and serve as primary contact for external finance partners; Coordinate Canadian tax and compliance activities; Maintain practical financial controls and scalable processes; Evaluate and improve the finance technology stack; Automate reconciliations and reporting workflows; Build reliable data flows between finance, delivery, sales, and people systems; Partner with CFO to strengthen the finance operating model.
