Responsibilities
Ensure proper application of ASC 606 to customer contracts; Perform and review monthly accounting close activities; Execute and continuously improve Month-End Close (MEC); Own revenue subledger-to-GL tie-out; Perform flux analysis vs. plan/prior period; Sponsor process and system enhancements across ERP, billing, and revenue automation; Support the financial reporting process by preparing supporting schedules; Establish well-defined checklists, calendars, and SLAs for MEC and audits; Evaluate transactions in accordance with revenue policies; Provide management insights and recommendations for improving scalability and efficiency; Support the external reporting requirements for the quarterly and annual audits; Drive root cause analysis investigation and documentation for issues impacting scope of responsibility; Analyze large sets of data and identify key drivers to support trends in key financial metrics; Build a strong partnership model with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Ops, RevOps, and FP&A; Establish and maintain relationships with key business partners; Implement and maintain required process & internal controls, perform control procedure to ensure compliance with company policy
