Design elements of multidisciplinary, multistory projects for new construction and modifications; perform standard and complex structural engineering analyses and calculations; create structural design drawings, calculations, and design summary presentations; estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs; write and manage construction contracts with subcontractors; perform project control tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control; manage multi-discipline design and construction projects; provide direct onsite field observations and resolve field conflicts; direct field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule and within budget; maintain construction schedule and solve problems; engage with new vendors to shore up contractor pool; prepare schedules and supervise completion of final punch list; promote job site safety and rectify hazards; interact with tradesmen, contractors, and building officials to coordinate maintenance and installation; communicate updates to budgetary, drawing, and design requirements to management.
