Partner Solutions Architect

## Responsibilities - Work with Databricks' Consulting and System Integrator (C&SI) partners, teammates, and technical and sales team members who work directly with customers. - Develop 'technical champions' within top C&SI Partners, providing enablement on technical matters related to the Databricks product. - Help customers achieve tangible data-driven outcomes through the use of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, assisting data teams in completing projects and integrating the platform into their enterprise ecosystem. - Exercise and develop expertise in areas such as Apache Spark™, MLflow, Delta Lake, and major public cloud infrastructure and services. - Become a trusted advisor to C&SI partners. ## Requirements - 5+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients or partners across various industry markets. - Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles with a core strength in data engineering or data science. - Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding. - Experience developing architectures within a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Coding experience in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java. - Expertise in at least one of the following: Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Apache Spark™, Hadoop, Kafka), Data Warehousing (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS), or Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, HPO). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience. - Written and verbal fluency in Japanese and English. ## Nice to Have - None specified. ## Benefits - Benefits allowance - Equity awards - Enhanced Parental Leaves - Fitness reimbursement - Annual career development fund - Home office & work headphones reimbursement - Business travel accident insurance - Mental wellness resources - Employee referral bonus About Databricks: Databricks is the data and AI company.
