Define multi-quarter platform strategy for development, testing, deployment, and operations; Author and review RFCs and architecture documents for infrastructure-impacting changes; Act as senior escalation point for high-severity platform incidents; Mentor senior and staff-level engineers; Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform as a product; Partner with engineering leaders to address systemic development friction; Define standards for AI-assisted and agentic development workflows; Own the architecture of CI/CD orchestration; Standardize build, testing, and deployment practices; Own the architecture and lifecycle of multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms; Establish cloud IAM, networking, and security standards; Lead service mesh architecture and policies; Define observability strategy; Drive FinOps practices; Establish organization-wide SLIs, SLOs, and incident-response practices.
