Responsibilities
Produce control building layouts, substation general arrangement, cable and conduit plans, line arrangement, grounding plan, sections, details, auxiliary AC/DC power distribution diagrams, bill of material, cable schedule; Define design scope, philosophies, methodologies, and criteria for medium and high-voltage substation projects; Review design basis memorandums and guide contractor discipline engineers/designers; Provide electrical, high-voltage, collection system, and substation support to operating renewable projects; Oversee internal and external electrical discipline calculations, studies, and designs; Support new project commissioning, documentation support, and assist with project energization; Develop and implement site betterment projects including preparation of scope documents, exhibits, budgets, schedules, and requests for proposals
