Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP IS-U Device Management and FICA including configuration, enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support. Manage Device Management processes such as device installation, removal, replacement, technical master data, and installation structures. Configure and support meter reading units, orders, scheduling, data uploads/downloads, validation, estimation, and plausibility processing. Support register-based, interval, and AMI/smart-meter data processing including MDUS/MDM integrations. Ensure effective integration between Device Management, Billing, Rate Determination, FICA, and related utility processes. Analyze production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions. Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate implementation with ABAP teams. Support mass activities, background jobs, performance tuning, patches, upgrades, and system improvements. Participate in unit, integration, UAT, regression, and production-validation testing. Collaborate with Billing, MDM, FI, technical, and business teams to resolve cross-functional issues. Maintain configuration records, functional documentation, process guides, and knowledge repositories. Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior consultants.
