Lead and manage the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and accruals; Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close ensuring GAAP compliance; Manage and develop an accounting team including AP, AR, and senior accountants; Prepare, review, and present financial statements and variance analyses; Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and workflow efficiencies; Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives; Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and compliance reporting; Partner with operational teams to reinforce accounting policies and documentation standards; Own resolution of accounting and close-related issues by researching discrepancies and developing solutions; Establish standardized processes, close calendars, and accountability across the function
