Responsibilities
Coordinate and promote socio-emotional learning and mental health literacy initiatives; Implement and promote socio-emotional skill development and risk behavior prevention programs; Collaborate with school teams to identify targeted socio-emotional needs; Develop learning plans for designated students; Provide individual and small-group counseling support; Intervene directly with students having behavioral and/or mental health disorders; Support crisis management for students; Communicate with central specialists, external agencies, and parents for student follow-up; Complete forms and processes for student designation or diagnosis.
