Responsibilities
Review engineering drawings and schematics to extract support requirements; Provide engineering feedback early in design phases to improve maintainability and reliability; Perform Logistic Support Analyses including RCMA, LORA, MTA, and sparing analysis; Create detailed maintenance procedures, test instructions, and troubleshooting guides; Engineer packaging, handling, storage, and transportation solutions; Determine tools, test equipment, consumables, personnel, and facilities required for maintenance; Create and maintain Logistics Product Data records in compliance with GEIA-STD-0007 / MIL-STD-1388-2B; Prepare and deliver formal briefings on ILS strategies and support-system designs; Offer maintenance subject-matter-expert guidance to engineering and sustainment teams; Evaluate ILS components of bid proposals and quantify life-cycle-cost impacts
