Prepare and revise design briefs, operating criteria, and design standards; direct consultants through design phases; review design submissions and drawing packages; coordinate FF&E installation schedules; review preliminary project budgets and participate in value engineering; select consultants and negotiate fees; provide detailed direction to specialist consultants; direct interior designers and architects in layout preparation; review and approve drawings, specifications, and material samples; monitor deficiency lists; provide monthly reports to owners; liaise with corporate departments; ensure energy efficiency compliance; provide technical support for due diligence and pre-opening reviews; comment on construction methods and schedules; carry out site inspections; represent the function during refurbishment works.
