Responsibilities
Develop and implement essential anti-cheat technologies directly into the game engine with a focus on code hardening and client security. Integrate and maintain platform-level security functions to strengthen defense against cheating. Analyze existing cheats in collaboration with security researchers to understand their operation and design new protections and detection methods. Collaborate with development teams to ensure anti-cheat solutions are effective, performant, and do not negatively impact the player experience. Debug complex security and performance issues related to the game and propose optimal solutions. Maintain active awareness of trends in game security, reverse engineering, and cheat development to proactively counter emerging threats.
