Serve as subject matter expert on US GAAP and provide guidance on complex transactions; research and document accounting positions for new or non-routine transactions; monitor standard-setting activity and assess impact of new pronouncements; partner with Legal, FP&A, Tax, and business teams on deal structuring and contract reviews; own and update accounting policies; oversee the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process; manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis; ensure the chart of accounts is properly structured; lead process improvement and automation initiatives; coordinate with external auditors during reviews; design and maintain a strong control environment; build team capacity and define roles; serve as a trusted advisor to the Controller/CFO.
