Responsibilities
Act as a finance business partner to the Engineering and R&D teams; Identify, evaluate and secure non-dilutive funding opportunities; Manage grant applications from initial assessment through submission, compliant reporting and audit close-out; Develop budgets, forecasts and business cases for the businesses you are supporting and innovational projects; Perform budget versus actual analysis and provide actionable insights; Support annual budgeting, long-range planning and strategic decision-making; Support selected financial accounting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and intellectual property-related reporting; Contribute to investment proposals, business development initiatives and M&A assessments; Act as liaison for external financial auditors during year-end closings, as well as specialized grant auditors reviewing subsidized projects
