Responsibilities
Analyze and validate true supplier capacity to translate into defensible production statements; Partner with supplier engineering teams to optimize process flow, factory layout, and tooling; Drive process qualification (PPAP, FAI, PFMEA) to closure; Establish and drive SPC reviews and corrective actions; Own bring-up of new production tooling and lines; Manage capacity expansion readiness including CAPEX and labor plans; Vet supplier facilities and workforce for Approved Supplier List; Drive product and process improvements to lower cost and risk; Support root cause task forces and close the loop on corrective actions; Partner with sourcing and design teams to align decisions with real supplier capability; Maintain industrialization risk picture and escalate with recovery plans.
