Responsibilities
Lead mechanical integration of exterior mounted ADAS sensors across fascias, grilles, windshield, roof, closures, mirrors, and liftgate; Define and release sensor brackets, housings, covers, and mounting interfaces; Own field of view and line of sight analysis including obstruction studies and aperture sizing; Drive sensor alignment and positional accuracy strategy including tolerance stack up; Own the exterior sensor cleaning architecture including nozzle design, fluid routing, and heated strategies; Define and validate cleaning performance requirements for various environmental conditions; Coordinate with thermal and electrical teams on heat rejection, condensation mitigation, and harness routing; Manage radar transparency and material compatibility requirements; Support prototype builds, buck reviews, and vehicle level test events; Support homologation and regulatory needs for sensor visibility and pedestrian protection
