Responsibilities
Own and manage electrical commodities/subcategories to execute supplier production strategies; Vet suppliers' production capabilities and facilities for inclusion in Approved Supplier List; Support sourcing and quality engineers in ensuring supplier adherence to part quality criteria; Own bringing up new production tooling and lines at supplier sites; Establish and drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at supplier sites; Identify and drive product and process improvements to lower cost and reduce supply risk; Support SQE with root cause task force and close the loop on corrective/preventative actions
