Own and manage electrical commodities/subcategories to execute supplier production strategies; Vet suppliers' production capabilities and facilities for inclusion in Approved Supplier List; Support Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring adherence to part quality criteria; Own bringing up new production tooling & lines at supplier sites; Establish and drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at Supplier; Identify and drive product and process improvements to lower part cost and reduce supply risk; Support SQE with root cause task force and close the loop of corrective/preventative actions
