Quality Assurance Engineer

## About the role We are looking for someone who has been part of a team responsible for large distributed systems (probably a cloud based web app) that scaled up to a high volume of users and/or data. This person would be familiar with testing, debugging and ethically hacking web applications and could use their experience to help us with the quality of our application. A Quality Assurance Engineer works with software developers to understand features and technical implementation. Works with Product Owners, Project Managers, Software Engineers and Solution Consultants to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests. ## Responsibilities - Experience with configurable, web-based, SaaS systems - Experience using Source Code Repositories - Drive to find bugs within software - Experience with Web-Based Testing Applications - Capability to perform manual tests and create automation where appropriate - Reviewed user interfaces for consistency and functionality - Solid understanding of QA testing environments
