Responsibilities
Establish a robust automation framework with 70%+ regression coverage, Reduce production escape rate by 30%, Achieve comprehensive manual test coverage across all key product flows, Define and implement a QA metrics dashboard used by leadership for release decisions, Contribute to and continuously improve the overall QA strategy, Own end-to-end test planning and execution, Partner with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to embed quality early in the development lifecycle, Champion shift-left testing practices, Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing, Oversee test case design, review coverage gaps, and ensure thorough regression and smoke test suites, Perform deep root cause analysis on critical bugs and drive systemic fixes in collaboration with engineering, Own performance, load, and security testing initiatives in collaboration with the DevOps team, Define QA metrics, dashboards, and reporting, Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices in alignment with engineering workflows, Ensure compliance with release checklists and sign-off criteria before every deployment, Continuously improve CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Required skills
6–8 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, Strong expertise in both automation and manual testing, Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks — Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, or equivalent, Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, REST API), performance testing (JMeter, k6), and security testing basics, Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar), Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language — Python, Java, or JavaScript, Experience with bug tracking and test management tools — Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail, Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate defects, risks, and quality status to engineering and product stakeholders
Preferred skills
Experience in a B2B SaaS or fintech/regtech product environment, Exposure to AI/ML product testing or data pipeline validation, Knowledge of accessibility testing standards (WCAG), ISTQB or equivalent certification
