Responsibilities
Perform TIG, MIG, Flux Core, Stick, and orbital welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys; lead, schedule, and mentor a team of welders and fabricators; own weld quality standards and approve WPS; partner with Engineering and QC to translate drawings into fabrication processes; coordinate production priorities with the Manufacturing Manager; champion shop safety, 5S, and continuous improvement; hire, train, and develop welders; maintain documentation for weld travelers and non-conformances.
