We are looking for a senior, hands-on DevOps engineer to lead our CI/CD and automation transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with strong ownership across the engineering organization. You will be responsible for establishing scalable CI/CD foundations, improving development workflow efficiency, and strengthening build and release reliability across multiple teams. You will operate with autonomy and executive support to define, implement, and drive adoption of automation standards that elevate engineering maturity. ## Key Responsibilities - CI/CD Transformation & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of standardized, reusable CI/CD pipelines, enforcing quality gates, branching governance, and robust release discipline across engineering teams. - Continuous Integration & Delivery: Establish strong CI foundations to improve build validation and early defect detection, while implementing structured deployment automation to enhance release reliability and traceability. - Infrastructure & Automation: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and containerization practices to ensure environment consistency and parity across the development lifecycle. - Engineering Enablement: Assess maturity levels, drive the adoption of automation standards, and provide technical leadership by integrating code quality tools and automated testing frameworks into daily workflows. ## What Success Looks Like Within the first 6–9 months, you will have established standardized CI/CD practices across teams, reduced manual build and release processes, introduced enforceable quality gates, and significantly improved release reliability and pipeline stability. ## Requirements ### Must-Have - 6+ years of hands-on DevOps experience - Proven track record of leading CI/CD transformation initiatives - Experience implementing pipelines from low or fragmented maturity environments - Strong experience with modern CI/CD platforms (Git-based CI, Jenkins, or equivalent) - Experience enforcing Git workflow governance and merge discipline - Hands-on containerization experience and exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code - Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms - Strong scripting skills and ability to operate independently and influence engineering teams ### Nice-to-Have - Experience integrating static code analysis and security scanning - Experience improving deployment strategies (blue-green, canary) - Experience in regulated or high-availability environments ## What do we offer? - Projects/Clients: Work on interesting global projects and high-impact challenges for top brands and governments using a mature SCRUM framework. - Team & Environment: Join a diverse community across Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, and Europe in an optimized remote environment. - Culture: Experience a trust-centric, flexible, and collaborative culture where everyone is ready to lend a helping hand. - Learning & Growth: Access mentoring programs, Growth Accountability Groups, and annual training credits to keep you at the forefront of tech trends. - Cutting-Edge Tech: Engage with a wide range of technologies including AI, blockchain, Cloud services, and microservices.
