Backend & API Engineer

## About the role Design and build the infrastructure layer between XInfinitum nodes, PALLAS devices, the wallet apps, and external integrators. You'll own the node RPC API, block explorer backend, DAO governance API, and pre-order/fulfilment integration layer. You are the connective tissue between the blockchain protocol and the applications built on top of it. ## Responsibilities - Design and build the infrastructure layer between XInfinitum nodes, PALLAS devices, the wallet apps, and external integrators. - Own the node RPC API, block explorer backend, DAO governance API, and pre-order/fulfilment integration layer. - Serve as the connective tissue between the blockchain protocol and the applications built on top of it. ## Requirements - Go or Rust - gRPC / REST API design - PostgreSQL / Redis - Blockchain node integration - WebSocket event streaming - Auth / JWT / OAuth2 ## What we offer - 1.0% equity in Pilon Labs with a 4-year vest and 1-year cliff. - A token package of 2,250,000 XFIN tokens. - 25% of allocated tokens will become liquid at the token generation event. - 12.5% must be locked up for 1 year. - 12.5% must be locked up for 2 years. - 50% must be locked up for 3 years (this is done to support the XFIN token and help to drive value). - Tokens will earn APY + multipliers during their staking periods. - Competitive salaries will follow once we have an appropriate amount of revenue. ## About the company Pilon Labs is still in its pre-funding stages. We are not able to pay out salaries at this time. As such, we are offering equity and token packages to our applicants. We are looking for individuals who understand Pilon's vision and mission, and who believe in these things as products and services. We aren't looking for workers, we are looking for champions of the cause who see the opportunity for what it is and are willing to take on the risk in these early stages because they know the rewards outweigh them.
