Network Automation Engineer

## About the Role Candidates must align with US business hours (we're confirming the timezone) Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension based on performance Open to BRAZIL Roles: - 5 Mid (4-6 years of experience) - 2 Jr (3 years of experience) ## Core Responsibilities - Develop and enhance network automation solutions using Python - Implement infrastructure as code practices for network configuration management - Integrate with APIs, source of truth systems, and ITSM platforms - Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on scalable automation designs - Troubleshoot and improve existing automation workflows - Engage in customer-facing discussions as needed ## Required Skills & Experience - Strong proficiency in Python - Experience with network automation frameworks (e.g., Nornir, Ansible, or similar) - Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations - Familiarity with Git and version control best practices - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, multi-vendor environments) - Experience working with structured data (YAML, JSON) ## Preferred Experience - Experience with Nautobot or similar Source of Truth platforms - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows - Integration experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools - Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms - Background in consulting or professional services environments
