Work model: 6 days/week (Mon–Fri WFO, Sat WFH, Sun off)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior QA Engineer to join our team. You will take ownership of test strategy across our web, mobile, and backend applications, drive quality standards, and mentor junior QA engineers. Working closely with engineering and product leadership, you will play a key role in shaping our QA processes and ensuring we ship reliable, high-quality software at pace.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership & Depth

Independently design and own test architecture for complex, cross-platform features.
Make informed judgment calls on test coverage trade-offs without requiring supervision.
Lead test planning and execution for major releases end-to-end.
Proactively identify systemic quality gaps across the product, not just individual bugs.
Drive adoption of automation best practices across the engineering team.
Mentor junior QA engineers on testing standards and practices where needed.

Test Planning & Execution

Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality across all platforms.

Bug Identification & Reporting

Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Provide clear and actionable feedback on test results and potential improvements.

Regression & Performance Testing

Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionalities.
Assist in performance, security, and API testing for backend systems.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on QA testing experience across web, mobile, and backend applications.
Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Strong familiarity with performance, security, and API testing practices.
