DevOps/Platform Engineer

## About the role You will own platform engineering and site reliability for zer0paper products. Infrastructure exists and services are running — your job is to automate, harden, monitor, and ensure nothing breaks at scale. You will use Claude Code as a core part of your workflow. ## Responsibilities - Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform on Hetzner dedicated servers - Harden Docker Swarm deployments — rolling updates, health checks, auto-rollback, resource governance - Configure and maintain Traefik v3 for multi-tenant SSL routing and custom domain management - Build monitoring dashboards, alert rules, and operational runbooks using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Alertmanager - Replace manual deployment scripts with automated CI/CD pipelines - Enforce infrastructure security — network isolation, secrets management, encrypted storage, audit logging - Maintain uptime and own incident response across all zer0paper services ## Requirements - Hands-on experience with Docker Swarm — this is a deliberate architectural choice - Proficiency in Terraform and bare-metal or VPS infrastructure management - Working knowledge of Go — platform services are written in it and you will need to read and modify them - Solid background in observability: structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting - Experience with Claude Code or demonstrated ability to work effectively with AI-assisted tooling - SRE discipline — you think in SLOs, error budgets, and automated remediation ## What we offer Short-term 3-6 months contract with instant equity activation upon delivery of shipped projects.
