## About the Role Do you want to join a scale-up fitness startup in full expansion mode? If so, you have stopped at the right place. We're looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to lead the Solo60 gym & wellness experience app suites. They have an exciting tech product to revolutionise how fitness and recovery spaces are managed end-to-end, from dynamic bookings to matching members with personal trainers and providing insights. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be working directly with the CEO and CPO to shape our product. ## What You'll Do - Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend (Node.js) and frontend (Next.js) systems. - Implement the following features in our user app (React Native, Expo) - Own AWS infrastructure, deployments, and performance optimisations. - Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality features. - Work with our external development teams, guiding them and pairing with them. - Ensure best practices in coding, security, and DevOps (CI/CD, Vercel). - Drive technical roadmaps and align engineering efforts with business goals. ## What We're Looking For - We're looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineering Lead to help build and scale the Solo60 platform. You'll work across a modern stack (Node.js, Next.js, React Native/Expo) while leveraging AI coding copilots like Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development. With 7+ years in full-stack development and 3+ years leading engineering teams, you'll drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and stay deeply involved in coding.
