## About the Role Right hand to a Serial Founder. A 2-year trajectory to founder-level fluency. You are the chief operator – the CEO's right hand and execution lead across everything he touches. He generates signal, you turn it into a company. You own the operational spine, run investor relations and comms, build the financial and operating models, and ship the Board decks. You turn ideas into profitable businesses. And help scale them exponentially. ## About the Company THE CEO Ex-Head of Innovation at Spotify, a Serial Entrepreneur (2x exits), and the Founder of A Vinyl Bar in Shibuya – a "music (software) label" releasing products that make music playable. Venture-backed by NFX, Mantis (Chainsmokers), Collaborative Fund, BoxGroup, SV Angel, Gold House, RRE, et al. $9M+ raised. You'll ride shotgun building a venture-backed music company – full trust, real ownership, room to run. Proximity to music, culture, investors, artists. Skin in the game and a trajectory to match. You'll also cover the CEO's investing, creative work, music projects, and whatever comes next. ## Responsibilities YOUR MISSION Be the engine. Own the operating cadence, financial hygiene, investor comms, and day-to-day execution. Help hire the right people and hold the bar. Get us to Series A-ready in the next 6-8 months. - Operations + Execution: operating cadence, hiring, vendor and legal, systems and process. - Finance: operating models, budgets, runway, cap table, board financials. - Investor relations + fundraising: investor updates and board decks in the CEO's voice, shipped on time. Data room, pipeline, and process support through a Series A. - Portfolio coverage: manage investing, creative work, and other ventures as they emerge. ## Requirements IS THIS YOU? - You're fast, focused, type A. When the CEO thinks out loud for forty minutes, you hear the three real decisions and send him a plan by the end of day. - You know how to work. 3-6 years in consulting, banking, VC, or startup ops required. Know the bar. - You finish the swing. You're allergic to loose ends. Meetings end with owners, dates, and deliverables. - You know numbers. You build budgets, operating models, runway scenarios, investment trackers. - You write. At CEO standard. Sharp, witty, zero fluff. - Total discretion. Close quarters, high exposure, no leaks. - All-in for two years. Long weeks, some weekends, fully in it. A sprint with real payoff – founder-level fluency, equity, promotion. Not a 9-5. ## What We Offer COMPENSATION $130-150K+ cash. 0.5-2% equity. Full-time in NYC, hybrid for the right candidate.
