QA Engineer Intern (Manual & Automation Testing)

## About the Role We are looking for a QA Engineer Intern who is passionate about building high-quality software. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure our platform is reliable, scalable, and bug-free. This role offers hands-on exposure to real production systems, not just test cases on paper. ## Key Responsibilities ### Manual Testing - Understand product requirements, user flows, and business logic - Write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing - Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps - Validate fixes and ensure no regressions - Test APIs, dashboards, workflows, and enterprise features ### Automation Testing - Assist in building and maintaining automation test scripts - Automate repetitive test cases to improve test coverage - Work with tools like Selenium / Playwright / Cypress (any one is fine) - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (basic exposure is enough) - Improve overall testing efficiency and reliability ### Collaboration - Work closely with developers to understand features and edge cases - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives - Share quality insights and suggest product improvements ## Requirements ### Must Have - Basic understanding of software testing concepts - Knowledge of manual testing methodologies - Familiarity with any one automation testing tool (beginner level is okay) - Understanding of SDLC and Agile development - Ability to think like an end user and break things 😄 - Good communication and documentation skills ### Good to Have (Not Mandatory) - Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript / Python) - Experience testing web applications or SaaS products - Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) - Knowledge of Git and issue tracking tools (GitHub Issues) ## What You'll Learn - Real-world QA processes used in fast-moving SaaS startups - How enterprise-grade products are tested - Automation testing best practices - Working with product, engineering, and leadership teams - How quality directly impacts business outcomes ## Who Should Apply - Final-year students or recent graduates - Anyone looking to start a career in QA / Automation Engineering - Curious minds who enjoy finding bugs and improving products ## Perks - Certificate of Internship - PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) for top performers - Mentorship from senior engineers - Startup exposure and ownership mindset - Flexible work culture ## Location Remote ## Duration 3 months ## Stipend 5000 INR per Month ## Type Internship (Full-time preferred)
