## About the Role
We're building "Iron Man" for litigation. Our endgame is an AR application for smart glasses that gives lawyers real-time intelligence—flagging discrepancies in witness testimony and prompting objections during live trials.
Before we get to the glasses, we're shipping the brain. We've built a desktop voice interface that gives lawyers "Jarvis-like" control over their workflows—redlining documents, managing Outlook/Calendar, and recording billable hours via voice.
The architecture is mostly built. Now we need to ship.
## Why the Intensity?
We have hard deadlines:
- Mar 9: Global product launch at a 6,000-person conference
We work 5.5 days a week (M-Th full days, Friday half day, Sunday) because we have a launch date. The schedule is flexible—one engineer works partially remote to avoid a long commute. We're looking for builders who thrive on deadline adrenaline and want to see their code used by thousands of users next month.
## What You'll Do
- Ship features and crush bugs before the demo
- Optimize latency for our voice-interface agents (commands like "Redline this clause" or "Draft a reply to opposing counsel" need to feel instant)
- Build and refine LLM-based workflows using LangChain—turning voice intent into precise legal actions
- Work with local models, NLP, and traditional AI
- Own your code end-to-end (not hiring DevOps)
## Who You Are
- A Finisher: You prefer a working feature over perfect code. "Demoable" is the KPI right now.
- Technically Strong: Real production experience with Go, Rust, and/or SolidJS. The more of these you know, the better.
- LLM Native: You've worked with model-agnostic architectures (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and understand tool calling and streaming.
- Hungry: You want to be one of the first 5 engineers at a company that's building the future of legal tech.
## Why Join?
- Massive Equity: Significantly above market for seed-stage. We've raised $2.3M.
- Immediate Impact: If you don't ship, we don't launch.
- Great Benefits: Free dental, vision, and gym membership. Kaiser Bronze free, Silver $40/mo, Gold $140/mo.
- The Team: High-intensity, in-person crew in Santa Monica, 3 blocks from the beach.
## Location
Downtown Santa Monica (In-Person, 5.5 days/week)
