Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the LEAP Unit; maintain a consistent on-site presence at detention facilities to engage with youth and staff; supervise Executive Directors of Workforce, Education, and Programming; establish priorities and accountability measures; advise executive leadership on youth-development strategies; oversee the design and evaluation of educational and vocational programming; develop strategies to reduce idle time and increase youth participation; strengthen service continuity during youth transitions; build partnerships with external agencies and providers; manage budgets, contracts, and provider compliance; utilize program data to guide continuous improvement; identify staff development needs; represent the division in interagency meetings and public forums
